Jaguar B 99 by Bertone 2011

Jaguar B 99 (where B indicates Bertone and 99 years of the company) was designed by one of the oldest names in the world to indicate the new direction to the design of one of the most prestigious brands of car. Thus Bertone Jaguar into the future at the Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March).
The B 99 explores new horizons with his usual elegance that distinguishes the brand Jaguar: in fact the car has sleek lines and smooth surfaces devoid of the usual lines that adorn the luxury car, while the dimensions are compact sedan (length 4.5 m, height 1.35 m, width 1.95 m) four-door that fits perfectly into the segment D.

Starting with a classic three-volume architectural, designers Bertone shaped a taut, muscular body, strong figurative power, made entirely of aluminum wrought by hand in homage to the ancient tradition of the “body shops” Italians. The unique personality of the luxury sports sedan is emphasized by the sophisticated minimalism of the interior and the use of precious materials such as leather, aluminum and wood. In terms of technological innovation, the new concept takes a hybrid power system “pure” extended-range, developed by Bertone Energy (Bertone, the new division dedicated to the study of engines with low environmental impact).
